My name is Rachel Stephens and I am the maker, social media manager, marketer, shop owner, & shipper for Cassidy’s Crafty Closet. Cassidy’s Crafty Closet was found as a small ETSY shop in 2018. It was named after my only daughter Cassidy.

I am a music and live concert addict. I also love to sew and embroider. Through this business I find fulfillment by combining those passions.

Live music at concerts and music festivals have been my “home” since high school. I am little quirky and these places allowed me to feel comfortable being true to myself. A lot of my designs are inspired by some of my favorite musical acts, some I have been seeing for more than half of my life now.

What sets me apart from a lot of other vendors on the scene it I do both the design work and creating of every item. Nobody else came up with these ideas and none of the stitching was outsourced. I am a crafter/maker and I do it the way they did back in the ‘good ole’ days of Shakedown. 🫶

When I became a mom I started sewing children’s clothing, because there was a lack of clothing at the time for little ragers. I am a divorced mom of 3 amazing kids! Currently, I am the primary caregiver for them and they are my #1 priority Therefore, I am not currently taking customs orders and will only be posting available inventory to be shipped at this time. In the past I have tried to take on too much at times. I have found with experience though, that I need to have balance in my life to thrive.

With this new mindset in the forefront, this website may have less inventory at times, but I can also now promise to ship any item ordered within 3 days time. 🥰 It will also keep me from burning out and ensure a better future for me, my family, and this business.

This business is my outlet and I love making things for you all. It brings me so much joy to see my work being worn and appreciated by their new owners. I vend in person at the shows that I want to be at myself. I am not just trying to make a buck off a band. I put my heart and self into every single item and design made. I make everything you see here! So when I see a piece I created at an event “in the wild” I still get sew excited.
